I am a licensed psychologist (PY9906), but also a pretty regular guy. I'm here to help you with whatever you're willing to work on. I don't have magical powers, but if you have the desire to change, I'm going to help you make it happen. I have Master's and Doctoral degrees from Nova Southeastern University. I have worked in university counseling centers, community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient eating disorder clinics, and have been in private practice since 2012. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and exposure work. However, I am also trained in the treatment of eating disorders, which requires a more integrative approach. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime, with questions or concerns.
I enjoy working with all ages, but these are with whom I work best. What's more important however, is if you feel comfortable working with me. Research shows that the fit between therapist and client is the best indicator of sucessful outcomes. Call today for a free 15-minute phone consultation!
My approach to treatment is purely collaborative. We will work together to establish concrete goals for treatment and then learn the appropriate skills/tools to achieve those goals.
While all treatment plans are unique, there are simple things that can benefit us all. Your treatment plan will include weekly sessions, a compassionate, collaborative relationship and focused work on concrete goals. Call or email today to discuss your individualized treatment plan.
